2001 selected for retail component of world trade centre
In the UK last year they took part in an environmental bench-marking for shopping centres, which was to assess each of the chosen retail developments’ impact on energy and climate change, water-use and resource depletion and waste management verses peers. This was to highlight ways they can improve environmental management and sustainability.
In the UK they have 7 shopping centres and 4 development schemes and 1500 outlets over the next 5-7 years
The role
Reporting to the project manager, your role will include:
• Developing the design areas with full development opportunities
• Presentation drawings
• AutoCAD skills to promote the quality of work
• 2D and 3D presentations
• Capable of adapting from design to completing a drawings package relevant to the scheme when required
• large-scale project input
• more involvement in certain areas
• a chance to show passion in a massive design where you will be focused on the design of the retail element of a massive regeneration with office, residential and leisure areas.
The person
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
• Proven design abilities
• Excellent AutoCAD skills
• 2D and 3D experience ideal
• Able to assist with package drawings for the scheme
• presentation drawing experience
• design flair
• large-scale project experience
• experience in mixed-use/residential ideal
• retail/commercial experience on a large scale ideal
• proof of plans, sections and elevations
• a passion to create large quality designs
The reward
A stable and long-term contract is being offered at the moment. You will have an impact on a massive regeneration area of London for large retail and mixed-use development that will be the largest retail development in the UK. Very good rates and a good Central London location.
